This is an official Workplace Health and Safety certified course and on completion will also fulfill requirements for a PADI Rescue Diver or above certification.

Prerequisites: All students doing nationally recognised training from January 1, 2018 will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number. To create a USI or read more, go to the government USI site here. Please note that all students must have the physical ability to provide resuscitation by kneeling on the floor and performing two minutes of uninterrupted CPR.

The Oxygen Provider course will teach you the skills you will need should an emergency arise. You will learn how to recognise scuba diving illnesses and be prepared to offer aid. This is a great course for scuba and freedivers, boat crew, lifeguards, etc. You will learn about the different types of emergency oxygen equipment, saftety when using these, how to assemble and disassemble the equipment, how to treat a breathing diver with a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator, and how to treat a non-breathing diver with a pocket mask.

Reminder for students
First Aid Course confirmations: We will send out an email and text message the day before your course around 3:30 pm to inform you of the status of the course and its start time.
Parking: Please keep in mind especially if you are arriving at 11:30 am or later, that parking can sometimes get very busy. Please give yourself at least 15 – 20 minutes for parking. We recommend that you park your vehicle in the Sea Life (Underwater World) car park at The Wharf Mooloolaba, 123 Parkyn Parade.
What to bring: Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes, and bring along a notepad. Please organize your lunches or snacks for the day, there are plenty of options here at The Wharf Mooloolaba for places to eat.
Cancelations and refunds: For all of our courses, we have a 7 day course cancellation policy. This means that a course cancelled or rescheduled within this 21 day period may not be eligible for a refund or rebooking of the course.
